We’re Hiring: Robinhood DApp UX/UI Designer
Help us design a simple, modern and trustworthy Web3 trading experience.
We’re looking for a talented UX/UI Designer to join our team and help design the user experience for a new Robinhood-inspired decentralized application (DApp).
Our goal is to make Web3 easier to understand and use by creating a clean, intuitive interface that feels familiar to users of modern financial and trading applications.
If you have a strong eye for design, understand modern fintech interfaces, and are interested in Web3, DeFi, wallets and blockchain products, we’d love to hear from you.
About the Role
As a DApp UX/UI Designer, you will be responsible for designing the visual experience and user flows of our Web3 application.
You will work closely with the development team to turn ideas and product requirements into polished, responsive and user-friendly interfaces.
This role is ideal for someone who understands that good Web3 design is not only about looking attractive — it is about making complex blockchain interactions feel simple and understandable.
What you’ll work on
DApp dashboard and main application interface
Wallet connection and onboarding flows
Token and asset pages
Trading and swap interfaces
Portfolio and balance screens
Transaction confirmation flows
Transaction history
Network and token selection

Strong typography, spacing and visual hierarchy skills

DeFi applications

You don't need to be a blockchain developer.

The following skills are a plus:
Experience designing crypto wallets
Experience with DeFi products
Experience with Solana DApps
Experience with EVM-based applications

Design Style We Like
We are looking for a modern interface that feels:
Simple. Clean. Fast. Trustworthy. Professional.

The product should feel approachable to someone who has never used a DApp before while still providing the advanced functionality experienced Web3 users expect.
Think:
Minimal interface
Strong visual hierarchy
Excellent spacing
Clear typography
Simple navigation
Professional financial-product aesthetic
Responsive design
Smooth interactions
Clear transaction states
Easy-to-understand blockchain information

1. Research
Understand our target users, competitors and existing Web3 products.
Identify UX problems and opportunities for improvement.
2. Create User Flows
Design clear user journeys for important actions such as:
Connect Wallet → Select Asset → Review Transaction → Confirm → Transaction Submitted → Completed
You will be responsible for making these flows easy to understand.
3. Wireframes
Create low and mid-fidelity wireframes before moving into final visual designs.
4. High-Fidelity UI
Turn approved wireframes into polished, production-ready Figma designs.
5. Responsive Design
Design interfaces that work properly across:
Desktop
Laptop
Tablet
Mobile
6. Design System
Help create reusable components, including:
Buttons
Inputs
Cards
Modals
Navigation
Tables
Dropdowns
Wallet components
Transaction states
Notifications
7. Developer Collaboration
Work directly with developers to ensure the final implementation matches the approved design.
You should be comfortable explaining design decisions and reviewing implemented screens.
What You’ll Deliver
Depending on the project stage, your deliverables may include:
User flows
Wireframes
Figma designs
High-fidelity screens
Interactive prototypes
Mobile designs
Desktop designs
Component libraries
Design-system documentation

Follow Web3 and crypto products
Notice small details other people miss
Care about spacing and typography
Think about the user before designing
Can explain why a design decision is better
Enjoy working with developers
Can work independently
Are comfortable receiving feedback
Want to build something from an early stage
We are especially interested in designers who can look at a complicated Web3 workflow and say:

Portfolio Requirements
A portfolio is strongly preferred.
Please include examples of your previous work, especially if you have designed:
Fintech applications
Trading platforms
Crypto applications
Wallets
DApps
DeFi products
